This is our first exciting news for Wrath of the Lich King and although not necessarily a monumental accomplishment, it was very nice to see our raid team get leveled up quickly and take Kel'Thuzad down on only the second full week of raiding Heroic Naxx. The kill pic below was on Sunday night the 14th of December. The prior week we had cleared Sartharion and Archavon as well as three Naxx wings. I want to also congratulate our raid team on fine "one shot" kills of both Sapphiron and Kel'Thuzad. It was the first time most of our raid team had seen those two fights and they did an exceptional job.

After a couple nights attempts we were able to down Felmyst and make some attempts on the Twins in Sunwell. Felmyst was definitely a bit more challenging than either Kalecgos or Brutallus. Many guilds pre 3.0 patch were stuck on Felmyst for a while. Although the HP's were nerfed the magic damage and complexity of the fight was not, congratz to the hard work of our raid team this week.

We had ventured into Sunwell the previous week for the first time but only had part of an evening to figure out how to deal with the trash packs and then a short period of time on Kalecgos. This week we ripped through the trash relatively fast and took down Kalecgos and Brutallus in only a few attempts.

It has been a while since my last update here on our main page. The only really noteworthy accomplishment the past month and a half was defeating The Council each week and working on Illidan as much as we could. With the changes in the recent patch, we not only have been able to defeat Illidan each week but have also cleared all of Black Temple in one evenings raid both weeks. This has given us some time to venture into Sunwell which was a nice change and gave us some new challenges.

I also want to welcome the new members who have joined our raid team the past several weeks. They have done a great job at quickly learning Black Temple and continuing our raid progression right up through to Wrath of the Lich King.

I am excited to finally announce the defeat of Lady Vashj in SSC! Shadow Wrath was one of the first alliance guilds in SSC on Kargath and has managed to weather many setbacks to our raid progression the past several months. The determination and loyalty of many of our core team has allowed our guild to seemingly rise out of the ashes to rival the strength and number of quality members that we had at the start of the Burning Crusade. I anticipate some good progress in the next couple months and look forward to the challenges awaiting us in Hijal/BT.
